Sourcing & Promoting Investment Domestic and Foreign, in liaison with KIPDECO & KIPA.

Small scale credit Scheme (loan to set up small scale Industries)

Training in Business Apprenticeship

Provision for piece of land within the industrial/commercial area

Provision of infrastructural facilities

Small trade special credit Scheme

Small and Medium Enterprises loan scheme to free investment training/consultancy by the SMEDAN

Recommendation for the processing and granting of Certificate of Occupancy for industrial purpose within a short period of time.

Provision of In-House training and advise to entrepreneurs where the need arises

To advise exporters on supply sources, quality standard, pricing, packaging and marketing strategies.

To assist exporters to identify exportable products and their producers

Our Responsibilities

Registration of Business premises and renewal
Coordinating the state participation in both domestic and international trade fair
Liaison with the Katsina state Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and agriculture (KATCCIMA)
Collaboration with department of market development
Liaison with Katsina Traders Association

Liaison with Nigeria Export Promotion Council to organize export awareness campaign
Liaison with Bank of Industry
Production of industrial policy
Industrial visit with a view to monitor, supervise and coordinate the activities of our industries in the state
Liaison with SON

Liaison with ITF, NASME, MAN, MSME, etc.
Data Base of all industries and SME's in the state
Liaison with all NGO's related to commercial, industrial and tourism and development partners
Liaison with CBN, Micro Finance Banks, Bank Manager's forum, etc.
Liaison with Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC)

Private sector engagement and coordination
Liaison with Bank of Industry
Maintain contacts with prospective Investment stakeholders at MDA's (State or Federal)
Identification of tourism potentials that are bound in the state, through research on attractions centers
To markets and promote the tourism potentials and investment opportunities through: publication of pamphlets, brochures, posters, handbills, video clips and social media which are normally distributed or displayed during trade fairs, conferences, seminars and workshops.

To serve as sources of revenue to the state through business premises registration and renewals
Coordinate and supervise the affairs of the Katsina state hotels board.
